More info

Deliciously fresh white wine from the Spanish region of Jumilla, Bodegas Barinas. Mineral wine with hints of ripe lemons. Fresh and fruity but not too dusty. Explosion of tropical fruit such as passion fruit and pineapple. Nice dry and fresh in character. The light color of this wine is an example of the best Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties from the Jumilla region located in southeastern Spain.

Barinas is a wine that overflows with passion, destined to seduce the senses of true wine lovers.

Many centuries ago, even before Roman rule, Jumilla was just like today, a land full of vineyards and olive trees. It is believed that this country was the beginning of a popular grape variety that would conquer the world much later in history: Monastrell.

It was the French who first used this vine outside of Spain and the wine was named after the port city of Mourvedre.
Barinas is the name of a small village in the Spanish region of Murcia, not far from Jumilla. With a population of around 1000 people.

The Barinas wines are based on the Monastrell grape, with exclusively indigenous yeasts in the fermentation and grapes from vines that are more than 25 years old.
